Battery & Electrical Service

Battery tests and replacement, starter and alternator checks, and electrical diagnosis on any make, here in Lakewood.

The battery, starter and alternator share the job of starting the vehicle and powering everything from headlights to the touchscreen. When one weakens, the symptoms often look the same.

We test the entire starting and charging system, so only the failed part gets replaced.

FAQ

Battery & Electrical Service FAQs

Have another question? Call (253) 474-0511.

How long does a car battery last?

That depends on the climate, how you drive and the vehicle. A quick test during regular service can spot a weak battery before it strands you.

Is it the battery or the alternator?

Either one can cause hard starts or warning lights. Testing all three parts is the only reliable way to know which failed.

Can a battery drain when the car is off?

Yes. A bad part or accessory can keep drawing power after you shut the vehicle off. We test for that parasitic draw.
