Brake Repair
Brake inspections, pads, rotors and fluid service in Lakewood for any make, with a plain-English explanation before we start.
No system matters more for safety than your brakes. Pads and rotors wear slowly, so changes in feel or sound often go unnoticed until they’re a problem.
We check the entire brake system, show you the results and recommend just the work your vehicle needs.

Signs your brakes need attention
Noticed one of these? Bring it to our Lakewood shop. We inspect first and go over your options before any work.
- Squealing, grinding or scraping when you brake
- A soft, spongy or low brake pedal
- A pulsing pedal or shaking steering wheel under braking
- The vehicle pulls to one side under braking
- The brake or ABS warning light is on
- Longer stopping distances than you are used to
What’s included
- Brake pad and shoe inspection and replacement
- Rotor and drum inspection, resurfacing or replacement
- Caliper, hardware and brake line inspection
- Brake fluid condition check and fluid exchange
- ABS warning light diagnosis
- Parking brake inspection and adjustment
What will it cost?
Cost depends on your vehicle and what the inspection turns up. You get the options and an estimate first, and nothing is done until you approve it.
What happens during your visit
Inspect
Pads, rotors, calipers, hoses, lines and brake fluid are all measured or checked, with a road test when it helps.
Explain
Your advisor goes over the findings and separates what’s urgent from what can wait.
Repair
Once you approve, worn parts are replaced and the system is serviced to spec.
Verify
Before pickup, we test for a firm pedal and smooth, straight stops.
How often should my brakes be inspected?
Plan on a check at least once a year, and sooner if the noise, pedal feel or stopping changes. We also look at the brakes whenever you’re in for an oil change or rotation.
Do I always need new rotors with new pads?
Not necessarily. Rotors that are within spec and wearing evenly can often stay. We measure them and tell you where they stand.
Is it safe to drive with the brake light on?
It could be low fluid, a hydraulic fault or simply the parking brake. Since it involves your brakes, don’t wait to have it looked at.
