Wheel Alignment

Wheel alignment in Lakewood so your car or truck drives straight and your tires wear evenly.

An alignment puts your wheel angles back to factory spec. Potholes, curbs and everyday wear on steering and suspension parts slowly push them out.

Good alignment means longer tire life, a centered steering wheel and a vehicle that feels planted on the freeway.

  • You recently hit a pothole or curb
  • You just installed new tires
  • Steering or suspension parts were recently replaced

  • Adjustment to manufacturer specifications where adjustable
  • Steering and suspension inspection for worn parts

How it works

What happens during your visit

  1. Inspect

Tires, steering and suspension get checked first; worn parts would keep an alignment from holding.

  2. Measure

An alignment machine measures each wheel angle against factory specs.

  3. Adjust

Any angle outside spec is adjusted.

  4. Road test

A final drive confirms it tracks straight with the wheel centered.

FAQ

Wheel Alignment FAQs

Have another question? Call (253) 474-0511.

How often should I get an alignment?

Follow your owner’s manual. It’s also smart after new tires or steering or suspension work, or any time you notice a pull or uneven wear.

What is the difference between alignment and balancing?

Alignment sets the wheel angles; balancing evens out the weight of each tire and wheel. A pull usually means alignment, and a shake that comes in at speed usually means balance.

Can worn parts affect an alignment?

Yes. Worn tie rods, ball joints or bushings won’t hold an alignment, so we check them first and tell you if something needs work.
